Announcing :

Hi all,

Fireengines.net and the Connecticut Fire Photographers Association are co-hosting an all-day fire buffing event in Meriden, CT on July 17th at the Sheraton Four Points Hotel located at 275 Research Parkway.

The event will consist of a model fire engine show and display, an outdoor apparatus display, and a photo night. The model show will run from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. in Ballroom C. The outdoor apparatus display will be from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. in the south side parking lot. The photo night will run from 7:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. in Ballroom B. Admission to the model and apparatus displays is free, and CFPA will be charging $10.00 per person to attend the photo night. Vendor tables are available for $20.00 each on a first-come, first-served basis.

Anyone interested in displaying models, bringing apparatus, or setting up vendor space should contact me for more information and to reserve your spot for this rain or shine event. The Sheraton is offering rooms at the discounted rate of $75.00 per night to event attendees. Please contact the hotel at (203) 238-2380 and mention this event to reserve your room at the discounted rate.

http://www.Fireengines.net is one of the internet's largest online forums for builders and collectors of scale model emergency vehicles and the CFPA is one of the country's oldest fire photography groups. Together these organizations are combining their efforts to bring you an event that should appeal to everyone interested in the fire service. We look forward to seeing you in Meriden in July!

The Connecticut Fire Photographer's Association was formed in 1975. Our primary mission is to assist the fire service by documenting the amazing work performed by the state's firefighters. The association meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month except for July and August.

Fire, rescue, and EMS operations can occur at any time. That is why CFPA members are ready to respond twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. They are mainly alerted to incidents by either pagers, that are able to receive several notification networks in our state.
